Why I Built a Travel Agency Around Feeling

Some of my earliest memories are shot through a car window.

Fields blurring into mountains. Rest stops that somehow felt like adventures. The particular magic of not quite knowing where you'd end up, just that you were going somewhere, and that somewhere felt like everything. My family's road trips weren't just vacations. They were my first love letters to the world.

I've had a gypsy soul for as long as I can remember.

I studied Psychology in college, fascinated by what makes people tick, what drives us, what we're really searching for beneath the surface of everything we do. That curiosity never left me. It just quietly shaped the way I see people, places, and the stories we carry.

After college, I walked into corporate America and honestly? I thrived. I'm wired for connection, for strategy, for the thrill of a goal worth chasing. But even in my highest-performing moments, travel was always the thread running underneath everything. The stories I couldn't stop telling. The places I couldn't stop dreaming about. The feeling I kept chasing every time I booked a flight.

Then came Florence.

The city where I got engaged. Where the light does something inexplicable to the stone and the air and your whole chest. And somewhere between that moment and the hundred travel stories I'd been collecting my whole life, something clicked. I'd been living this passion for years. It was time to actually build something from it.

That's how The Wistful Wayfarer was born.

The name came from somewhere honest. Wistful because that's exactly how travel has always lived in me, as a longing for something more, as the feeling of a place staying with you long after you've left, as the quiet ache of dreaming about somewhere you haven't been yet. All of it, all at once. And wayfarer because that's simply what I am. A lifelong traveler at heart. Someone who has always felt most like herself somewhere in between.

Put them together and you get something that feels like an exhale. Like a permission slip. Like the beginning of something.

My tagline, Because every journey begins with a feeling, didn't come from a brainstorm. It came from my Psychology background and the way I've always understood people. We don't make our most meaningful decisions from spreadsheets. We make them from something deeper, a pull, a longing, an instinct we can't quite name. Travel is no different. The best trips don't start with a destination. They start with a feeling you're chasing or a feeling you're ready to finally let yourself have.

That's what I'm here for.

I am, unapologetically, that girl. The one who wants to know what the locals eat, how the wine tastes in the region it came from, what the coastline looks like at sunrise before anyone else is awake. Curious by nature. Enthralled by culture. Equally at home at a candlelit dinner in Positano or hiking something wild and breathtaking before noon.

And I realized, why keep all of that to myself?

Why not take everything I love about this world and help other people fall in love with it too? Why not turn a lifetime of wandering into something that actually serves people, giving them not just a trip, but an experience so carefully designed it becomes a memory they'll carry forever?

That's exactly why I'm here.

To elevate the experience. To bring the expertise. To handle every detail so seamlessly that all you have to do is show up and feel it. Whether you're honeymooning in Bora Bora, rediscovering yourself on a wellness retreat in Bali, or finally taking that once-in-a-lifetime trip you've been putting off, I'm here to make sure it's everything you imagined and nothing like you expected.

We don't remember the logistics. We remember the moments. Things like the moon rising over the Aegean. The taste of salt on your skin. The silence that, for once, feels like peace.

That's what I'm here to create for you.

Because every journey begins with a feeling.
